Sales Rep Recommendation : SoCal : Laguna Niguel or Other

Hows it going, searched the boards for quite sometime looking for previous threads on recommended Sales Reps in the SoCal Area.

I've heard good things about:
-Laguna Niguel
-Fletcher Jones

Looking to get a new C63 Coupe. Also if you happen to have bought a C63 Amg coupe lately, what kind of deal did you get ?

Thank for your help.

I highly recommend Steve Hall at Laguna Niguel. He's a stand up guy and the service advisor John Mosqueda is also reallyu good. I picked up my 2010 C63 there last year. I may live in Chicago now, but would call Steve in a second to find me another C63 when it is time to upgrade.

My first experience with Fletcher Jones was them trying to charge me $350 for a part under warranty. I told the guy I'd rather use super glue than pay him $350 for something under warranty and he just said that was my decision and walked away. Needless to say I didn't return.

I've bought 2 cars from MB San Diego, and a close friend also bought her C63 Coupe from there. Our sales rep is Ryan Zatt. Outstanding service. Give Ryan a chance to earn your business, and you'll see what I mean.

Stay away from fetcher jones. Far far away. They were so unprofessional and full of lies. They made me waste 3 hours of my time and a tank of gas by telling me they had a BS order that was cancelled and up for grabs. They said it was sitting at the dealer and ready for me. I drove from Temecula just to find out they had no BS available, and then they tried to get me to buy the C63 coupe, when I was already driving a C63 sedan.

Call Ryan at MB San Diego, and tell him Nelson refered you. He'll take care of you.

I bought my car from MB of San Diego as well. Worked with Robert OReily. Was the best car buying experience I've had to date.

I have worked with Ali Hashemi of mb Laguna Niguel on four cars. He is now the manager of mb of foothill, which is the laguna's sister dealer. I would highly recommend him.

2012 C63 Black Series
I have purchased / leased 7 cars from fletcher Jones. My sales rep is Jun Lee. He is a great guy. very knowledgable about the cars.
I bought my 2009 C63 in august of 2008. and while everyone else I know was charging over sticker, he was able to get me a discount on msrp, not much, but at that time the car was pretty hard to get.

Tell him Ted with the bs sent you, He'll take care of you.

Just a thought. Go to were the people wealthy people aren't. Orange County, LA, SF Bay Area, San Diego.....lots of wealthy people...central valley California not so much. Beside, it's a fast and fun drive home down the 1-5 and over the grapevine.

I respectfully disagree. I think dealers that have an easier time getting the amounts they ask, can absorb a higher discount when you negotiate.

You may find that timing helps a great deal (no pun...) Last day of the month, last day of a holiday weekend, last days of the year, etc. They have goals to meet for these occasions and are willing to be flexible that means they will reach/beat their goals. Even a weekday that has been painfully slow can result in a great deal at 8:30-9 pm.

Both dealers are AMG performance centers. Bob Mangiona is the AMG sales manager at FJ and they have the largest allocation of AMG cars in the US. For long time customers who've developed a relationship pretty hard to beat Fletcher in getting the model you want.

Laguna caters to the AMG crowd as the owers are at many of the AMG events, Pat Boulter is the GM and a great guy. This would be a great place to develop a relationship as they support AMG's racing effort. Their parts department is second to none. Finding the Sales Rep that connects with you is the key.

Not my experience at FJ, the top guys I've dealt with have been there over 15 years. If your a walk on you're going to get the newbie working the lot.
BTW, the turn over in the car biz is about the same as stock brokers, insurance sales and just about every other sales profession.
