Ok I did use the search button to look for recommended items for the 40K service. One of the threads I was reading said that MB recommends changing the spark plugs at 40k. Is this right?

In my European service book it says you have to replace your spark plugs every 60'000km (75'000km for a normal W204 C-class). My car has 140'000km so I've replaced my spark plugs twice.

The 2010 Service Booklet says: Service 12 - every 100,000 KM (62,500 miles) or 4 years - Replace spark plugs.

Finally found my maintenance booklet. 8 years or 80k miles for the c63.

Service book for Australia delivered C63 specifies spark plugs replaced every 4 years or75000km ie about 45K miles

I know right? I took my car in for service and my SA told me 8 years or 80k. Believe me a dealership is going to want to get every bit of service they can. When I checked my maintenance booklet it confirmed what the dealership had said.
