Dude you really honestly think they are going to wash you car the way it should be wash? The brush and Mitt and rags used will have more miles on them than the orange bowl urinal stalls have seen penises. Don't take a black car anywhere for a wash. Trust me on this..

A lot of dealers are doing these, but what will your nice newish 63 need besides maybe tires/brakes?

Probably nothing, so unless you want the free carwash I wouldn't go....

The Fairfield dealer offers a free annual inspection for the life of the car if you've purchased from them. They also offer free car washes for the life of the car. I walked around the dealer today and the saw the car wash and it looks like the ones at the gas stations. I dont think i'll use that benefit.

Yeah, no thanks. I saw something similar offered in WC. I'm not sure where they wash the cars though, because I don't think there's one on the premises.

There's a guy in Oakland who will do car washes by hand for $10. Quick detail in and out for $17 and will probably do anything else you want if you're willing to pay for it. They're always slammed.

I used that benefit during winter when it is too cold (DC/MD/VA area) to wash my car which was caked in salt and sand.

My dealership uses one of those touchless ones, the pressure from the water jets can still mar the paint finish and grind the salt and crap into it, but come spring time I do a total detail (wash, clay, wash, polish with moderate and light abrasive Menzerna polishes, seal paint, wash, wax) which gets rid of the swirls the dealership put in.
