2012 Mercedes Benz C63
New 2012 C63
Hey guys. New member of forum, new owner of a C63. Picked it up new two months ago but was waiting for a proper detail before pics/posting. iPhone pics attached.
What a car. Let me say again, what a car!! I was in a 2011 S4 before the C63 and before that a 2009 BMW M3 (E93--hardtop convert). Not fair to the S4 to compare her to the C63 and the M3 vs C63 debate is a long standing one. On this forum and virtually every autophile outlet. Frankly, I'm not ready to weigh in yet. I just hit 1000 miles on the C63 so just now appreciating her splendor.
I've never owned a non-manual transmission car and frankly I'm a fool for not having considered one sooner. Well, not just any non-manual, a trans like the one in the C63. The MCT is a D R E A M. Holy cow, virtually no loss of power between shifts and don't get me started on kick downs when going hard on accelerator.... I thought I would miss that third pedal a great deal and I guess I miss it a bit if I'm being honest but I never thought I would enjoy the MCT as much as I have. Especially in S, S+ or M.
Thanks for the great info on this forum and I look forward to being part of this community.
Happy and safe motoring friends.

2012 C63 Coupe. Eurocharged, Charcoal Filters Removed, R-S3 Tires
Congrats!!! Good choice!!! I drove audis before my c63 too so I know the feeling.
My suggestions to you:
Replace charcoal air filters with something sporty and light. Get ECU Eurocharged. Paint the side markers to match the color of your car. I don't know if you want it louder and barkier 20%, if yes than replace resonator with straight pipes (no x-pipe, kills the barkyness). I guarantee you will enjoy your car WAY MORE and this type of tune up is the best bang for the buck. You'll be at around 520HPs and much more responsive transmission
P.S. On my picture side markers tinted. It's old picture I will change it to the new one with painted markers. Looks sick.
