Aftermarket LED DRL's
I have a 2011 C63 and the one thing I was disappointed in was, there were no factory option for LED's when purchasing the car. It really only bugged me when I saw the 2012 regular C200/250/300's and the face lifted C63's on the streets.
I know a few guys on the board with do have these on their cars. But I haven't seen any pictures apart from the ones floating around on the net for the online retailers selling them.
Shipping was fast, took 5 days to arrive from Germany to Australia. Secondly the amount of bubble wrap they used was generous. The quality of the plastic and finish is very high.
My car is booked in on Monday at a local Mercedes specialist paint and panel shop to have them installed and painted. They have a good relationship with the Mercedes dealer and will have one of the technicians from there to come over a do the wiring just in case there are any unforeseen problems.

Installed and painted pictures as promised.
Just waiting on a carbon fibre front lip to arrive in the mail, that should complete the look.

There is a subtle protrusion from the LED housing if you look closely. When I mocked it up at the paint and panel shop, I noticed it a lot more on a white C63, compared to pictures of a black C63 on the internet.
I originally intended to keep it black but changed my mind to have the LED housing painted. In my opinion on a white car it maintains more of a classier semi-factory optioned look.

In no particular order ( I ordered through CHROMETEC);

As far as I know, Revozport sell a LED kit separately to integrate into their DTM style front bumper. The one I purchased is designed to fit and follow the shape of the stock C63 front bumper. All up about $1500 AUD/USD painted, fitted and installed by a workshop.

That price is ridiculous considering the components it comprises of. a few LEDS (even the high powered ones that we use in night lights for cycling) cost between a few cents to a few dollars each depending on the size of the bulk purchase orders.
I suspect the cost to make those are very low, in the $50 range on the high side of my estimate. I realize there is a cost to manufacturer, and R&D and what not, and some profit, but 500% markup is a tad high.
I plan on doing something similar using fiberglass, LEDs and an arduino (www.arduino.cc) to drive the LEDs... ... now I just need to get off my *** and do it (newborn around seems to be negating any free time)
Otherwise, I do think it looks good, and is a clean install, I just don't think it is worth the money.

A friend purchased a 2011 C250 with the AMG package, cost was $1500 for the LED option at the dealer here at the time. Factoring guys from Europe/North America would get it cheaper for shipping, maybe slightly lower labour costs for fitting and if they choose not to paint the housing. To me, no regrets at all, totally satisfied.
Good luck with DIY project if you go ahead with it. I think getting the wiring right is the key.

Good job, I think it looks awesome & clean!! I would have painted like you did as well if I had the $$ to buy the LED.

my wife bananas! :D
I also think the mod looks great! a tad pricey but it does update the look of the C63 without ruining the aggressivness of it.
that said, I'll spend the money on a tune before I do this mod. just imo

I think those are the same lights used for the DTM F1 led option. I can tell by the picture of the wiring they are made by the same company.
