I've had this problem for quite some time now. I just let the weather decide for me. Unless I'm running late, in which case I take the Duc. Lane splitting is legal in California if done safely.

There's almost a 10k price difference between the base Diavel and the AMG edition. Some people might not think its worth it, considering that there is no performance upgrades. It's purely a cosmetic package. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm just giving him a hard time. And that's actually a Carbon Diavel, which represents a significant bump over a standard Diavel.

Thanks Thanks guys!
There's a reason why I didn't go with the AMG version of the Ducati Diavel.
This bike was actually won at the local casino by my girlfriend (which made front page reddit)

Pretty damn cool.
I just started riding a while back and I was in the market for a Ducati Monster 796 while I was riding a GSX-R 750.
I was going to trade this bike in for a Monster but the deal I was getting was garbage and I can flat foot this bike and its awesome.
I was also thinking about trading it in for an AMG version as well since the price difference for the Diavel Red to Diavel AMG was only 5k more.
But dealership still had a bad deal on the take back of my Diavel so I just settled... Well also there are only 1 Diavel AMG coming in and it would have taken a while to receive it ( I got to ride this bike a month already)
