Anything over $2000 for the factory wheels even WITH tires is INSANE. They're factory wheels!!

I've been desperately trying to find a set as well. I'm will to pay up to $2k for them. Anything more then that and I'd rather buy some custom wheels like DPE or ADV.1 or D2..

If anyone has a set of the 19's they're willing to let go for less then $2k LET ME KNOW.

Even that's ridiculous. Nearly brand new sets of OEM Porsche take-offs sell for $1500 MAX even with good tires on them! No reason why any used OEM wheel should get more then that on the open market.

I can see why they were expensive in the past, because you could only get them in Europe, or special order in Canada. But now that it's pretty normal to see the 19's on regular delivery cars... I think the value has to reflect that.

Because they are 4K+ for wheels alone at stealers....obviously not worth it but they look a lot better than 5-spokes

I bent 2 rims in 6 months when I had hartmann knock offs on my Audi S4. I've never had an issue with OEM rims. The quality was shady at best....gotta be careful when going the knock off route. No 19's in the states so I can see why they'd still be at a premium here.

They are indeed expensive even used.. When i was in the market for a set, I got a good deal from my dealership, but it was w/o tires.. So I decided to add a bit more money & get true monoblock forged HRE wheels... And never looked back. Lol

Sorry to say this, but that is why you are still looking, you will not find any for less than 2K, good luck, when I ordered my set from my dealer back in 2008, I paid 4k without tires, then I sold them to a member here and was asking 3k with tires, the response was overwhelming on this forum. Just trying to add a little realism to your scope.

A few people I know had cracked their 19 inch OEM rims coming from 18 oems. There is a reason why 19s were not avail in the U.S.

^^ Yeah, I heard few members had bent/damaged their 19's OEM. Are the OEM multi-spokes wheels forged or cast?

OEM 18's and 19's are cast wheels.

That's one of the main reason why I'm on HRE's! Probably the same reason for you went HRE's.

Question: If I get a set of HRE, is it possible to replace the HRE logo with the MB one? I like some of their wheels but I don't want to give an aftermarket look to my car..
