I'm thinking about upgrading my '09 C63 AMG exhaust system from OEM to the Renntech Akrapovic Full Titanium exhaust system. New link pipes and resonators, mufflers, and tail pipes!

As I'll be storing the OEM AMG exhaust, I was wondering what would be a fair price to sell for the exhaust system.

Best bet is someone on the E63 board since the OEM exhaust on a E63 is not as loud. The parts they will want the most are the mufflers.

Crazy money you are spending for this system
I heard it on a C63 and I am not sure what you are looking for but I was very disappointed.
It was after I heard one with full MBH catless headers and mine with catless downpipes.
It sure does look awesome though.

I have the Akrapovic exhaust on my 2009 C63 Renntech stage 3, 255/285 Renntech wheels, CF all around,with stock cats. Looks great, sounds great, but a different deeper sound.

I spent most of my Saturday watching the Renntech mechanic replace my eisenmann sport exhaust with the Akrapovic evolution titanium system. The system is brutal.

I look some pictures and sound bytes along the way to show the progress.

Secondarily, I'm still selling the full eisenmann sport system. $1300 USD + shipping. It is being polished at the moment (3 pieces) and i'll upload pictures later this week.

congrats on the akrapovic install.. so this is a full end to end akrapovic install? are you more happier with this setup compared to the eisenmann? no droning at all? what headers are you using?

The install is everything from the cats back to the exhaust, all titanium. I truly love the growl and bark of both the OEM and the Akrapovic evolution systems. I was in the market for a non-racing exhaust with more ferocity than the eisenmann sport exhaust and I think the Akrapovic system fits the bill stunningly.

Cabin noise was also a consideration in the system and true to form, the system has no cabin drone. It is also significantly louder and more aggressive than the OEM stock exhaust without a drone and you can certainly hear it when you step on it.

With this change, I'm also planning on a visit to get it dynoed to how it performs; should be approx +12 HP / + 22 TQ, and a bit quicker given the -42 lbs drop in weight.

I'm running stock C63 AMG headers. I've also considered doing a header upgrade this year but I'll have to see how the year pans out.

the sound only gets better as the car warms up, and the titanium expands a bit. after a short run, the exhaust is crazy deep and sounds very tuned.
