Prospective new owner of a palladium C63 sedan
Hi guys,
I am looking for a CPO C63 sedan and thought that this would be a great place to get some help! I will be going to a dealership tomorrow to test ride a 2009 Palladium silver c63 sedan with 38k miles on the clock. The car will have its warranty till march 2013. Asking price is 46 k but i hope to bring the price down. It does not have the P30 package though which is fine. Any suggestions regarding the price? What would be the ideal price for this car? I am hoping to purchase extended warranty for a reasonable price.
My other car is a 2011 Audi A5 and i am really looking forward to get this beast in my garage. Any inputs will be welcome. Thanks!

The deal didnt go through. The car was listed at 46900$ and I offered 42500$. the sales guy went to his manager and came back with a price, wait a moment, $46900! After the guy made a few trips back and forth lasting for 3 hours, they reduced 490 bucks! Gotta be kidding me! then came the usual BS of how they have priced the vehicle to sell and there is no markup..blah blah blah! I sat there for 4.5 hours and came back feeling stupid! The car is a beast though. Total J of all u guys! My search continues......

I searched for C63's for a few months. Ended up paying 45k for 09 with 40k miles, CPO with LSD. I don't know where people are finding deals like 42k for these cars, I couldn't find any in the nation. The only car I found for under 40k (was 39k) had 70,000 miles on it and non CPO. They wouldn't even budge on that price.
Good luck!

Asking for $43.5k, 21k miles, 2008 E63 with still some warranty left. I'd take this over a more expensive 2009 C63 with a lot more miles on it. You may be able to get this E63 for $42k, which is a pretty good deal, imho.

just be patient.. i was searching at ebay, auto trader, mb dealer websites for deals, etc.. stick to your budget.. i was originally looking to trade my car (06 c230) but i thought i'll get more option (well, not stuck to what's available on my location) if i sell the car first, get money and then search 'nationwide'.
i ended up getting a CPO car from an MB dealership about 2000+ miles away from me... i've secured my loan thru my local bank so that i can bid (on ebay if i see one) or show interest if incase a car shows up within my area.
while i seems to be very excited with the car when i test drive it, it all changes when i tell them my price. even if it's +500 on my price i will not take the deal so just wait. be prepared to justify your asking price if incase they ask you how you come up with (such a crazy low) price (as if you are making it up). i've been told - well, with that price, you might as well find another car.. guess what, those cars are still at the lot for about 3 months now and they are continually dropping prices (a car i test drove - 2010 CPO was priced at $54k, offered them $47k and they said no way, i saw them advertise this car as low as 48k - now its on another dealership lot sitting there for 1 month now), another 09 non-CPO priced at $49k and offered $46k and then said nope.. car is now priced at $47k.. i just don't understand, for $1k difference they won't bulge (??) aren't they losing money when the car sits in the lot for long periods of time?
got me a deal on a 09 CPO with P30, carbon fiber interior and alcantara steering wheels with 20k miles for $45k.. went back and forth with them and eventually settled to that price (new tires, new breaks, new oil, brake fluid, etc).

2009 C63 AMG Steel Gray
I paid $41.7K for a CPO 3 weeks ago, 2009 with more miles than I wanted (47.7K), but the CPO warrantied the car until 09/2013, I was able to negotiate the 2YR/135K extension for a mere $2.5K (error on the dealers part, should have been $4K). I'm still under factory warranty until 09/2012.... which is better than nothing.
The car was decently loaded for a 2009 (I wanted Keyless-Go, and miss the advanced iPod interface of 2010+ models) and the color was exactly what I wanted (Steel Gray), which is sometimes hard to find in a used car (especially an AMG):
[Edit: The dealer also put $3000 in work into the car for tires, brakes, some trim pieces and the CPO review - so they lost money for sure on it]
Factory Options included:
PREMIUM PKG 2.: $1,100
-rear sunshade
- bi-xenon headlamps w/washing system
- corner-illum fog lamps
- LED tail lamps
MULTIMEDIA PKG: $2,980
-enhanced voice control
- COMAND navigation system
- 7" color display
- in-dash 6-disc CD/DVD changer
- harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound
- 6-GB hard drive w/Music Register
- Gracenote
AMG SEATING PKG: $2,980
-premium leather seat trim
- front seat memory
-4-way pwr steering column w/memory
-exterior mirror memory
IN-DASH 6-DISC CD CHANGER : $460
IPOD INTEGRATION KIT: $375

2009 C63 AMG Steel Gray
I'm curious if the previous owner is on these forums. I'm not sure I want to know how those first 47K miles were though This car was purchased in Buena Park, and serviced there as well as Fletcher Jones.

hey guys,
need some help here. I m pursuing a CPO 2009 C63 which is in good condition and 100k warranty till Sept 2013. It has multimedia package and Premium II package. My only concern is that its done 49K miles which seems a little too high. asking price is 44k but the dealer has hinted that he might be able to bring it down to 41k. what do u guys think? If i get a killer price, i might be able to forget the miles on the car. what do u guys think abt buying a high mileage car? any issues that i need to look into? any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

got some more info on the vehicle...The brake pads and rotors are at 65% and tires have 7 mm tread depth i.e 85% of total tire life.
anyone here who got new tires and brakes thrown in?
