Valvetronic Exhaust System

Im really interested in upgrading the exhaust on my C63 Sedan. What options are out there for exhaust systems? I like the idea of the valvetronic systems but only know of two makes (Agency, IPE). Which one is better? Is one higher quality? Do any of you have experience with either system?

Thanks Guys!!!

For a comparison, I can't help you. I'd PM one of the vendors who wells both for an unbiased response.

A quick vid I threw together for someone else on this forum:

Both are very similar, the main difference is in the valvetronic electronics. IPE uses a more sophisticated approach by using voltage, RPM and TPS (throttle position sensor) whereas AP uses voltage and RPM only. The IPE system is thus a lot more precise and acts like a true OEM valved system similar to what Ferrari uses on their 458/430/599.

Thank you! Do both systems use a vaccuum? I dont know much about how the system works. When you push the throttle down further the valve opens? or is it always open/always closed based on what you tell the remote?

Both system use a vacuum, there are technically 3 modes: Auto - On/Off (Manual). Auto is where the difference will be and where the IPE will be more precise due to TPS - for instance if you are over 4,000 RPM but are only using 50% throttle, it won't trigger the valve.

Haha. I was probably on my way to a meeting or a concert or something. I don't work from home in a suit and French cuffs. As for the bike, I almost always ride geared up to the hilt. I'm way too young to get killed by some idiot before I get the chance to kick their butt or sue their pants off
