Some pictures of my Weistec 3.0 garage build
Since it is rare on this forum to find pictures of the insides of our cars I decided to share some pictures of the forum on what I am having done to my car.
The first steps was to remove the motor and gearbox.
My innocent 500whp 335 in the background.
All the pipes removed and only the harness left. I decided to unplug the harness at the ECU and remove it when the motor is out.
Balancing the box for removal.
Right side custom 2inch ID branch was catching even though it was loose so out it came.
Eureka its out. Time to package and ship it to Weistec.
What the bum end looks like.
My wife walked in and blurting something only a woman would say. I didn't know you can make a sentance with looney and crazy. My staff had a laugh.
Easy does it. Left side branch stayed on. The car is RHD.
On the way to the engine stand. When people stand next to the motor do you realize what a mammoth of a motor it is.
Items to be fitted are:
Weistec Heads (I have a spare set of heads that I had done)
SLS Valve Buckets
Weistec Head Studs
Weistec Piston and Rods
I injured my hand doing summersaults with my daughter so I am hoping in the next few days to tear the motor down.

I will obviously have a drag setup for the car as well to play on the quarter although there are no goals in that regard.

I must add that the motor build will be done under the supervision of my long time friend and professional. At this power level there is zero tolerance for errors to be made when it comes to the building part of the motor.
