Evosport | New 390mm Performance Brake Rotors

More info: http://www.evosport.com/product/prod...VO.BRK.M39.RF1

In stock. Ready to ship.

Designed as a direct brake rotor replacement for the OE 390mm 2-piece front brake rotors (no modifications are necessary), and work with the factory AMG brake calipers. The Evosport rotors offer a significant improvement in cooling and brake performance over factory brake rotors- over 50% more air for improved cooling and reduced brake fade on street or track. In addition, not only will the upgraded "floating" rotor design help mitigate brake fade, but they are lighter than stock and reduce unsprung weight on the front axle. This means better acceleration, braking and cornering.

To minimize casting requirements, the stock OE rotors are designed to be used on either Left or Right side (single part number) utilizing an inferior pillard vent design. This does not allow for the most efficient flow of air. The Evosport rotors have a specific Left and Right application to allow correct and proper venting and the most efficient channeling of air.

The Evosport rotors provide a much great ROI and lower cost of ownership by allowing you to replace just the outer ring of your rotor during brake replacement (few hundred dollars). The stock OE rotors require you purchase the entire rotor assembly, and often times they can only be purchased in pairs (several thousands of dollars).

The hats on the Evosport rotors are made of lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum. Engineered directional vents on each hat dramatically optimizes cooling and further improves airflow.

Drive pin washers made of strong Inconel (used in military, aircraft engines and racing applications) are practically impervious to oxidation or corrosion. Curved design on the drive pin washer add additional tension to the assembly thus reducing rattle.

Each rotor is silver zinc coated for anti-corrosion, mitigating surface rust on the vents and rotor. Zinc coating also benefits customers who live in colder climates where snow and road salt is encountered.

Rotors are 100% made in the USA.

Application:

- C63 (W204) AMG Black Series Coupe
- CLS63 (W219) w/ P30 Performance Package (not for cars w/ Ceramic Brakes)
- SLS (C197) (not for cars w/ Ceramic Brakes)
- SL65 (R230) (not Black Series)
- SL63 (R230) w/ P30 Performance Package
- SL55 R230 P98/Black Series
- COMING SOON: 390 Upgrade Kit for vehicles with 360mm brake rotors.

*PLEASE NOTE A VIN MAY BE REQUESTED TO VERIFY FITMENT. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FITMENT QUESTIONS.

Benefits:

- Direct bolt-on design requires no modification
- Works with OE AMG calipers
- Lightweight design (10-lbs unsprung weight savings over stock on front axle)
- 7075 aluminum hat, hard anodized (Black)
- Directional vents on hats further improve cooling and airflow
- Inconel drive pin washers
- Better value and cost of ownership over OE
- Unique Left/Right application for proper venting/airflow (unlike OE)
- Replaceable discs and hardware
- Better heat dissipation and less brake fade
- Improved acceleration, braking and cornering with less unsprung weight!

Fronts and Rears also available as a kit or separately:

- FRONT and REAR Performance Rotor Kit
- REAR Performance Rotor Kit (rear for C63 Coupe Black Series coming soon)

Nice. You guys still make a line lock and would it work with the BS? Is the 10 lbs per axle savings based on the different style hat compared to OE? What about the rears?

Yes will work on BS.

Both hat and disc design.

What about the rears?
If you are referring to rear C63 Black Series rotors, they are in the works. Production should commence in a couple weeks.

Soon. Our 390mm Upgrade Kit for the standard C63 will be available shortly. It will include adapters to relocate the brake calipers in order to accommodate the larger 390mm rotor.

So I guess with these rotors a min of 19" wheels is required?

Great work on this product!!!!

Would it be possible to fit your 330mm two piece rotors with the stock BS rear calipers in order to fit a 17" rim for some hoosiers. So could you keep the stock calipers and swap rotors along with swapping rims?

If this is for a C63 BS, the 330 rotor will NOT bolt-on without relocating the caliper since the BS has a 360 rear rotor. The assumption here being that the C63 BS rear hub is the same as a standard C63 and we would be using the standard C63 rear rotor. This is possible but may be a bit more challenging downgrading the rotor then trying to move back up.
