Oil change needed ?

My C63 coupe has just reached a little more than 5500 miles and the "please refuel oil" had just popped up yesterday. am i supposed to top it off with the original oil or am i supposed to drain all the old engine oil and refill with new oil ? thank you !!

Its just telling you the oil is low.

Some people do extra oil changes around that mileage though.

if you want to go by the manufacturer specs, change the oil at 10,000 miles or 1 yr mark. I change mines every 5000 miles. You can just top if off and go about your business if you change it every 10,000 miles.

I think a lot of dealers will top the oil off for you no charge. Give them a call or drop in.
