hello everybody,

just wondering if i could get some help/advice on a 2012 C63.

I see there are only 3 2012 C63s in all of Ontario. If one of the vehicles is 65000 what should i aim for under MSRP?

I went to the dealership today and they were very friendly and professional.

They told me cost is approx 8% on the C63. They gave me $1500 discount off the $65000 MSRP. I've searched the forums and some people get between $5000-$12000 off MSRP. How is that possible? Remember I am in Canada so it might be a tad different. I want to purchase... but also dont want to get ripped off.

Speak to Ray Lam at Kennedy to see if he can help you on better pricing.

I actually went this morning to the one on Kennedy.. and dealt with Christopher Ko the GM.

I didnt say 100% that I was going to buy but after test driving a couple of vehicles i think i want to buy the C63.

i will try Ray in any case

Right now the 2013 model is taking order. If you are buying any vehicle in stock, I believe you can get at least 2% discount

I found harder to deal in Toronto, they only gave me 2%.. so i ended buying here in Ottawa at 5% off.

AMGFANs and Roswell... thanks for your replies... 2% is so little compare to the 8-12% they get in the US... if this is normal then i guess i just have to face reality... so no one in Toronto can get 5-8%? as you said.. 2013s are coming... this 2012 is nearly a year old already... i would think they would give 5-7%

any other advice would be much appreciated... i'm going to try to get serious with them and see if they can throw in more.

It's true that the 2013 are around the corner.. But what influence the market price is the availabilty of the 2012 remaining stock.

In 2010 in US, they were so many cars left that MB gave 10 000$ off in trunk money.. But since then.. This incentives never happened again.

On the other hand, 5% is not exagerated.. So be patient & u can definitely get it. Don't settle for 2%, I took it as an insult when I was shopping in TO. Lol

Roswell - thanks for your advice... i hope i can get a C63 but hard to say... i was just running the #s and seeing the monthly payments is scaring me.. LOL.... when the salesguy let me turn on the car though i almost had an orgasm... hahahahah...

I just got the 2012 c63 demo from a dealer- Amy performance pkg, 19 wheels fully loaded
Got a decent discount. About 9k plus no pdi, and other taxes

Is it possible to get the P pack if you already had the vehicle but without it? I would say, if you don't care about the performance, at least get a premium. helps a bit. even if you don't like the backup camera

i spoke to Ray last week, he said no 2012s are left and told me to order 2013
called MB Toronto, same answer, no 2012s are left as well
how do you guys find these 2012?

I have never understood that... profit margins are not very high on new cars. Dealers do get volume discounts, etc but it would still leave a razor thin profit margin. I get the idea of markets with strong competition and trying to get the business to get the service work later but, at some point, you think dealers would stop giving away inventory and try to make a profit.

Hello everyone...I do have to say that I am a salesperson at Mercedes-Benz Barrie, a private dealer in Ontario just north of the GTA. We do still have two 2012 C63 sedans available here, one with the performance package. I do have to agree that there is limited stock of these vehicles. We have a particular fondness for performance vehicles at this dealership, so our stock is unusually robust for the average dealership. Please remember that going just outside of a major metropolitan area can be very beneficial for pricing, to draw clients in from the city we have to be very competitive.

^ Dont buy from MBBARRIE!!! I bought my sedan there a year ago... worst expereince.. sorry Cargirl! Pricing isnt competative, and service prices are much higher... dont bother seriously!

If you want to buy a C63 go to Victoria Star Motors in Waterloo... very knowledgable in AMG vehicles. Private Dealer with AMG performance center reps. Dan is the sales agent who will be selling my Dad a fully loaded CLS 63. He can get you lots of incentives!

ValclavSV... I'm very sorry your experience here was not a positive one. I've been here myself for nearly 8 months now, and I have to say that I love it here. But obviously, every person's experience is different. Although, I am glad that you recognize the benefits of dealing outside the GTA....and are such a positive, loyal customer to the brand.

Every time an AMG engine is started it sends shivers down my spine....I have to say just being around these cars every day makes my life here a VERY enjoyable one.

I ordered mine from MB Oakville Autohaus.. Steve Jones is who you need to go see, he knows his Shi*... they are also NOT a corporate dealer so they can be more flexible. Heres the thing. Because I placed a deposit on a 2012 long before details were available I was dealing with MBBarrie for roughly 8 months. In that time The service was awful ... especially for someone who was buying a fully loaded 90K car... let alone an AMG. There was lots of opportunity for them to redeem themselves considering there were more than one tense event throughout that time. The funny part was that it was all because they were with holding available information and lying to my face. Russ was the biggest joke and wouldnt even confront me. My sales agent Sal was the biggest ***** ever. He had to keep running back to Russ for information only to give me no relavent information. Then when I said enough of this and walked into the garage to talk to the shop foreman (who we know from bringing previous mecedes in for service). Sal went whining back to the dealer manager's son. Now that young man was even funnier because right off the bat he threatened me. Thats when it takes someone younger (although appearently much more mature) to instruct him to have this conversation behing closed doors so he doesnt loose the respect of his coworkers. I recieved no incentives, had nothing positive to say what so ever! I recieved no guidence on AMG driving academy, or AMG anything for that matter. When I picked up my car and paid in full I was shocked to say the least at the little to no "Goodies" ... I recieved sweets and iced tea... not very appealing to a young male. Especially after they way they dropped the ball in the first place. Nothing against you Cargirl, Im sure you are a great sales agent, however this isnt behaviour that just suddenly changes experince to experience. This is them holding on to information so they could have my car (one of the first 2012s in Canada, the first on the lot) avaialble to show customers or something. I would have apprechiated honesty and kindness. None of which I recieved the whole time I dealt with the dealership. You can have your opinions from 8 months of working there, I too was involved for 8 months and saw nothing but arrogance and rudeness.
