C63 amg oil change
Hello, I recently bought a 2010 C63 amg and I asked the salesperson when I should bring the car in for it's oil change, he told me every 10,000 miles, that sounds crazy to me, I think it's every 6k miles right? If it is 10k miles as He said can you guys let me know, because I thought oil changed were 5-6k miles not 10k, how many miles do you drive your c63 before it's oil change time?

There is an OBC that sends you a reminder on the dash. Oil change annually unless you are doing lots of miles.
Unless you plan on keeping the car for years then I reckon more frequent oil changes are a waste of money. As long as you are performing oil and filter changes as per recommended interval then your log books are up to date and you are preserving your resale value. If you are going to move the car on in say 3 years time then why spend additional money changing the oil every x000 miles to potentially help out the 14th owner in 10 years time.

It's whenever the service indicator tells you to Basically it's ~15k kms +/- depending on your driving and how dirty the oil gets. It is synthetic (from the dealer) which does have a lot longer wear life. Couple of times with my C320 I've added a litre and it gives me more kms to go before the next svc a/b. If you're concerned, you can always take it in early if it helps you sleep at night.

I noticed that the electric wires ( that go under the oil pan and hook to the exhaust ) are wraped with insalation tape, but are soaked with oil that appearently seep from the oil drain plug or may be they got wet from the plug shooting oil at time of change .
My question is : Should i clean the wires and dry them out ? what should I use ? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated .

The oil is not electrically conductive. The insulation is reasonably immune to oil. Sop it up with a paper towel during oil changes.
No big deal.

Your best bet is to have your oil tested. It costs like 20 bucks and will tell you exactly what condition the oil is in.
If you do regular street driving, the recommended intervals should be fine, but if you are racing or driving aggressively lots, I would have your oil checked.
I say this because our rec oil change is at 15,000km.. I had the oil tested at 7000km and it was on the edge of its life. The ability of the oil to neutralize acid was almost gone and it was pretty contaminated. Going another 7000km would have pushed the oil way past its limits.
