Thinking about pulling the trigger on the GT PRO single X pipe.
I was thinking of the single X pipe just replacing the resonator only. I want just a little more sound while not loosing the AMG sound.
Does anybody have one, how does it sound?
I watched a few you tube and I think it sounds good. Any comments predicated.

I just replaced my secondary cats with MBH X-pipe. Positives are that the exhaust sounds louder (about 20-30%) with no droning whatsoever, and car seems more eager to go. Downside is that the signature throaty/burbling note of an AMG is a lot less noticeable.

the car in this video starts REAL good but when the rpm's drop it sounds kind of weird. not sure how to describe it.

Trust me on this, go for an H pipe not an x pipe. You will retain the distinctive AmG note more. My advice would be don't do anything to the C63's phenomenal stock note EXCEPT remove the secondary cats

So simply remove the secondary cats and replace with 2 straight pipes? I'm heading to the muffler shop today!

there really isn't all that many. i've found 2 or 3 i believe, lots have headers too though. i'd def like to hear more. i think i like the sound of that setup, less raspy.
