anybody here from houston? just wanted to ask which MB dealership(s) in houston do you go to for service.. experiences? good? bad?

i've been to MB Sugarland for the regular service a and b in my previous car (c230), as well as at Star Motors and ARod MB (Clear Lake).

i'm thinking of having the c63 checked due to some whining (ringing) noise coming from the engine (bay) which i just noticed. not sure if it's normal or not. Or is there an AMG performance shop around town (tied with any dealerships)? the car is a CPO that i got from another state.

You should check out the guys at Eurocharged. I am pretty sure they do service work. tHey are in Houston

Stick with MB Sugar Land or Arod. Greenway and MB North are a total ripoff. Quote you one price then add a bunch of stuff you didn't order.

Norb.. do you have a certain mechanic or service advisor that helps you out in MB Sugarland? or Arod? when I had the services at Sugarland, it's always a different SA - same with ARod. The only thing I like at ARod is that they either pickup your car (and deliver), or give you good loaners. What i don't like is that they charge too much for the same service as (say compared to) MB SL and/or Star Motors. Thanks.

We have always used Star Motors and for a number of different cars. Can't say we have had a single issue with them though not had to take anything there in quite a while either. As I understand they do free loaners these days instead of the you pay for the tax and get a rental car which was not a bad deal since equated to a a few days per day to use. Maybe not the best place to get a great price on a new car but the service/repairs, for us at least, has been outstanding.

Never used Greenway or North but have used their sister BMW dealerships and without getting into long details I will just say I would never even consider the MBZ or BMW offerings for service.

I don't have a service advisor. I just take the next person available. They have records of all the things they've done to your car anyway.

I have taken my car to MB Greenway for warranty work, which was free, and had no problems with that. Its only the scheduled stuff, like service a and b, that they rip you off on. Only because its near my house (I live in West U).

I did my A service at Houston North. They did a good job. Also told me to change my rears (5700mi).

They (MBSL) also have Saturday coupons. Call and see if they have any Saturday specials.

Thanks! I was able to print a coupon from the c230 forum here and got $100 off from my last service b there. I'll inquire about this Saturday coupon.

MB Sugar Land, Texas - Stay far away - Service adviser was Jaffar Haider - Went in for a loud hissing ac due to a leakage. Left my car for 4 days. Came to pick it up and I had 11 extra miles on the car and the car was left in sport mode and they still did not fix the leak since they did not hear the noise. Total BS. I complained and they offer free service. Chew them out and went to Mercedes of Greenway. Greenway was very professional and fix the AC with no problem. Service Adviser was Jessica
