yea we get alot of these types of license plates. As well, there are MB plates that sling back at BMWs hehe.

what he should do however, is to channel some of that creativity in making sure he parks in the middle of the parking spot

yes this is true... and I would've said something earlier but a heavily modded 335 can put up some crazy numbers. If it was a 328 i would've been laughing all over.

Still a 335. I've owned 2 and it's a nice car but it's no AMG no matter what you do to it!

I was going to do M3 LOL or something like that, but my friend's M3 just got the full Vorsteiner kit and supercharger.... I don't feel like getting teared a new one with that plate on.

At some of the friday night meets there are a few 335s that come out running meth and such... I have never seen how fast they are (Hopefully this weeked on a cruise im going on) but frm the "Stories" they tell the 335 can become quite the sleeper!

The point stands regardless - anyone (more or less) can dump money into pretty much any vehicle such that it will outrun higher priced "performance" vehicles. I think of AMG / M / all those other high performance makes and models as a pay-to-play system. And I'd be fine to wave to the guy in the 3-series as I drove off in my loosing-but-4x-as-much AMG.
