Garage got a new toy
Delivered yesterday. I was on way to home when the truck driver called and informed me of his ETA and whereabouts which happened to be 1/2 a mile ahead. So I caught upto him and guided his home.
Parked in one corner for now:
2011 C63 - P31 all options- with 1900 miles. And warranty until end Nov 2017.
$57k. All options. MSRP was $80k.
I cancelled my order on a 2013 C63 ($83k - negotiated $75k) when I realized savings of over 10k by buying this thing.
Parked the bus outside and put all the toys in there.
This thing (or maybe me) just wants to obliterate tires in any gear. Wife drove it and wants to trade in the GL450 for the upcoming GL63 AMG. (no way in hell).

I have been lurking for quite some time (join date) but thats mainly cause I bought a CLK in 07 and a E550 in 09 and then a GL450 in 2012.
The AMG section, however, has always been one of my favorite.
I understand the car was owned by another member here before me.

I bought those cyclists many years ago and they've been hanging in there since November '11. I guess I'll just throw the junk out.

Yes he did. I followed that thread as well. He bought a C63 BS in a very awesome shade of Yellow.

Congrats! Our cars are identical in pretty much every way except the trim (I have CF, $83k msrp). I absolutely LOVE this color and had to buy it the moment I saw it in person! Three months later, I still can't stop admiring it.

Good to see you're a GTO owner too....great car. We owned an Aussie version...an HSV GTO....same LS2 engine, but we get 19" wheels....we also optioned AP 6 spot brakes, & roof spoiler from Coupe 4. Our car was yellow with yellow leather trim...sold it last year....so, unlike yours, it never shared our garage with the C63.
The GTO is what has made the "rattles" in our C63 noticeable. They're not really BAD, but the GTO, whilst costing half the price, didn't have a single one in 75Ks & 6 yrs of ownership. They are a sensational car....hope you continue to enjoy yours.
We also, like you, have P31 optioned with our C63, together with LSD, 19" multi spokes (comes with P31 in Oz), keyless go & rear blind.
