Dear All, although new to this forum I am not new to MB. I currently drive an S320 and previously an SLK55...so having had cars at the opposite end of the spectrum I have plonked for a new car.
Now that I am proud father I have chosen a c63 Estate..ok so order is in, deposit paid but I cannot decide on a colour. I have given a spec of tenorite grey with silver 19s and red/black int, but I keep going back to diamond white, black 19s and all black int...then I panic and think iridium (my s and slk are in this colour) with black 19s...
Aargh. I would welcome some thoughts and advice as I have not seen a C63 in white or tenorite. I am worried about the tenorite being too bland and possibly a bit dull and the white being too bling for the UK.
Thoughts please gentlemen...

I think you need to see the colors yourself in person. Exterior color choice is very personal, no one can tell you what is best. That being said, I have steel (tenorite) gray and I love it! Can look somewhat bland when a little dirty and overcast outside. Being that you're from the UK you probably spend 364 days of the year in overcast?

tenorite is not dull at all, it's very shiny, but i do find it a little bland. diamond white is a beautiful colour. the pearl in the paint makes it shine really well.

you can't go wrong with either colour. (i'm not much help lol). Diamond white is a much better colour than the previous Calcite White though.

Thanks gentlemen. I have seen a new slk in diamond and it is lovely but it was in the showroom under those harsh lights. I had a 997 TT in carrara white with black wheels and it stood out, however that was in sunny Dubai. I also had a seal grey metallic 996... Think I am leaning to the white as the Geneva show car looks stunning. Although that had carbon mirrors...1235 GBP....ouch

I see you mentioned Iridium Silver. I was never a fan of silver cars, especially silver Mercedes as I found them boring, however I have to say Iridium on the C63 is really stunning. This color really makes the definition, creases, bulges, and curves pop out. Seeing as your in the UK, which has similar cloudy weather as our Northwest in the states, this type of lighting really makes the car look masculine.

I'm guessing after having 2 Iridium cars already though, you probably want a change. But if you can, take a look at the C63 in this color because imo it looks different on this car than others in the AMG lineup. At least previous AMGs that had softer lines. Oh, and with the silver 19's it just helps to complete the package! Good luck with your decision.

Diamond white is a fantastic colour, but looks so much better in the sun! On a rainy/overcast day it's not as special, but still looks great!
Tenorite grey looks great, but won't stand out as much.
For me, i'd go with Diamond White, 19" Black, Black interior.
Even if you get tenorite, I would go black interior. Red/Black seems weird to have in an estate. But hey, thats me.
Get what you want buddy! I'm sure you'll be satisfied either way!

Black as well but its hard to keep clean
