Reset TCU - relearn driving habits
Okay, so I think most of us know that our cars learn our driving/shifting habits. And I think most of us also know that if you disconnect the battery and do some other mystical things, we can reset the TCU to relearn our habits.
My question is, when we reset the TCU, how long does it to learn our habits? And is it always relearning or does it only learn for a set period?

disconnecting battery will get you stored codes.
windows and sunroof needs to get reprogramed again.
driving your car like a carthief is the only way for your transmission to adapt your driving habits.

I was told by a tech that the car continually re-learns your habits. Drive hard for a few days and the car is retrained. Have a few slow days and it learns that too. Better yet... stop using auto modes where it matters anyway!!! M mode all of the time and it doesn't matter what the TCU thinks

I felt like the car was sluggish in S mode so I started using my paddles in M mode :-)
