Just discovered this one while looking for tuned CLS63. Nice run for the C63 when we know how powerfull a tuned CLS can be. Wow @ that M5 also.... Stock power is huge ....

That M5 is shockingly quick. Didn't think it would outpace the CLS. And please, don't tell me that CLS is tuned!

Def. a 2012. You can even see V8 Biturbo on the fender.
I don't understand also.... Even not tuned , the CLS should compete with a M5. A properly tuned CLS would just walk on the M5 even if M5 is super strong.

I sincerely doubt it's tuned (or done properly). I have been in a tuned CLS with 780hp (twin turbo) and let me tell you it is out of this world compared to even my 600hp c63. It would put the M5 to shame and pretty much any car you put against it. it would walk a GTR too (plenty of videos to prove it).

So the only way I see is that's its not a turbo CLS and mildly tuned too, with poor driver...

Stock CLS is possible.
Tuned CLS is easily over 600hp ...

PPP Stage 1 ( car in the video ) is supposed to be 650hp..... I assume there is an issue somewhere But where ?

And you can't believe that either that CLS isn't tuned or that the M5 might be tuned? Do you realize that the M5 is also a TT car and capable of putting up any numbers that the CLS might be?

Sure ! I just look at the vid's title thats all.

But hey , if the M5 is tuned , then sorry but the MHP car is just a complete beast....... I hope for these guys that the CLS & M5 are not tuned. Or they should be quite ashamed

Just like to tell you all, that video is a complete Fake. It was uploaded a few months ago with a diffrent description. I have seen the video and in no where did it previously have a PPP description in it. The uploader "Kams177" is an MHP customer....go figure

as you can all clearly see here that the CLS63 is not tuned at all. A stock M5 F10 has no chance against any tuned M157 CLS63, FACT.

Andy has posted this video on the AMG preformance forum. I called him up to race against a REAL PP-Performance tuned M157 Bi-turbo ClS63 against the same customer that he has in Abu-Dhabi.

This was an OE tuned CLS63. Made somewhere around 600WHP. It was pretty much dead even with my Z06 from a roll.


Something isnt right about the video.

Stock for stock however and the M5 beats the CLS63 without a PP. A tuned CLS63 with a PP is BEAST and would walk the stock M5 with ease along with the C63 that was filming.

The point is this is a stock CLS63 without a PP.

I think SLS Qatar and Propain are not talking about the same "PP" lol...

CLS63 PP -> Performance Package , should be close to a M5
CLS63 PPP -> PP Performance tuner , SHOULD walk an M5 anyday , anytime.

To me , it seems this CLS is just a CLS63 PP and a stock M5. I don't understand why SLS Qatar you are blaming MHP for anything ??? He probably also misunderstood the title of the vid. Still , the MHP C63 is quicker than both wich is a pretty good point.

Fact = The CLS in this video is stock without PP (Performance Package) Not Fact = The CLS in the video is tuned from PPP (PP-Performance) I didn't say that this CLS belongs to a member of MBWorld. I said there is another CLS63 here tuned by PP-Performance and you can see all the information about it from the link I posted in the previous post. Hopefully a real race will be setup soon with a real PP-Performance CLS63 vs MHP S2 C63 in Abu-Dhabi. A tuned+downpipes 2012 CLS63 will easily walk an S2 MHP C63

Got it ! The title was confusing.
You will however agree that the S2 MHP did well against that M5 ! Are you sure about the non-PP for the CLS ? I don't think a stock CLS can keep up with a M5

Yes , as Propain said , a tuned CLS will probably walk way too many modern cars to list them. The released power is amazing ! Thats why I'm looking after one availlable to buy

Plus it has a dual clutch transmission, so shifting is alot quicker then the CLS63.
