There is a big difference between an 11.6@125 and 12.1@117
The extra horses went into the 8 mph trap speed and the 1/2 a second in the 1/4.
For a rear wheel drive car that is a sick time! Easily in the 10's on drags.

it's a big difference on a drag track. But it doesn't make up for the better looks on the c, and nicer looking interior(my opnion) for straight line power the gt wins but it doesn't really destroy the C like some people might have expected. not sure how good the GT handles and how it's like to drive, so can't say to much about comparing the 2.

I don't see what the big deal is with this vid. Different ranges within each brand. Porsche is being represented with the Carrera S which is a great car but by far not the fastest production or best "drivers" 911 they produce. Of course the GTR (with the Lambo and Mclaren) are all at the top of the food chain within their respective brands. Pit those cars with say an Enzo, Porsche GT2RS, Mercedes SLS and ZR1 and the outcome my be the same but the "wow" factor these bone heads try to produce will seem a little less. Drag race it is but "World's Greatest"... far from it. Oh and I like the professional drivers they employed. Especially the one that fixes her sunglasses as she gets ready. 
P.S. Went on a run two weeks ago with my brother (10' Porsche GT3), cousin (09' GTR), nephew (09'M3) and myself. Walking out of this restaurant and notice this guy looking at my cousin's GTR he turns to us and says..WOW! Nissan GTR!! The third fastest car in the world!!" Wonder where he got that.

Its a big difference on the street. This was a street race. On the drag strip the GT500 would do even better.
As far as handling goes the GT500 did Laguna in a better time as well but Randy the driver wasnt happy with the car and liked the BS better. The GT500 would also fade as the Supercharger heated up and the BS NA engine would just keep going. So in the longer run I bet the BS would win.
The GT500 destroys the C63 though in straight line though. 1/2 a second is about a 5 car lead in the 1/4 mile. That is an *** whipin..
