Steering Wheel Paddle Shifter Extensions in Aluminum from BRABUS

As a proud BRABUS dealer, we have recently added these to our website and wanted to introduce them to the board. The latest addition of BRABUS tuning upgrades are galvanized aluminum paddle shifters for specific Mercedes-Benz models. These extensions attach to the back of the steering wheel and make it easier to reach to change gears during spirited driving.

Why.. why... any metal.. makes for a crappy shifter.. sure they look cool.. till your car has been sitting in the sun for 8 or 9 hours while at work.. then they incinerate your fingers... honestly, major design flaw in my opinion.

Although I appreciate what Brabus does and their R&D efforts. This is way too much for 2 cnc cut pieces of aluminum. No matter who designed them. It's not like they give the car functionality it didn't have before. Just replaces existing. If they were at least 400 I would think about it.

It's not GMP other distributors have same price. Still BS if you ask me, but it's not GMP? I think it's Brabus getting their head up their bumm.

I know it's not GMP's fault for the price but you can get an OEM alcantara steering wheel for $300 more. Insane pricing for a pair of paddle shifters. Get real Brabus. They don't even look good. They look like miniature boomerangs.

I recommend Matt (olszowa12) his CF shifters are pure sexy. They look like the stock ones but just in CF, they feel amazing also

That's the second time I've seen you say that in as many days.

I think you're dead set on it.

Just curious though, why does an aftermarket part offered by a company in no way affiliated with Mercedes make you want to leave Mercedes?

It is just one of many reasons. Mercedes is horrible at taking care of faulty engineering like the head bolt issue. Skinny *** tires and ****ty offsets.

Plus there are just so many more accessories for bmw. Plus bmw comes with maintenance. I do love mercedes interiors compared to bmw but oh well. Plus mercedes usually screws over us buyers. My 2009 retailed for almost 80k but it didn't come with parktronic or folding mirrors that Damn kias come with. The company as a whole pisses me off. My next car will be all wheel drive tho. And a dct.

Wrong, my sister had a BMW...she paid for that "free maintenance" in the MSRP price.

255's aren't "skinny" ...go buy some 285s if you don't like it, M3's don't even come with 285s.

Go ***** to the idiot who ordered your car not mercedes

if you don't like your car so much then go sell it, don't come on forums acting like a child and whine because the dumbass who ordered the car didn't get folding mirrors...big deal, you can buy sick CF ones for <1k which is totally worth it because they look amazing

"09 C63 - Iridium Silver/Blk - Limo Tint all around, Mod. Concept 3-piece CF wheels, Tuned by - CUSTOM EXHAUST (Resonator and Secondary cat delete with dual electric QTP cutouts - AWESOME SOUND!), DCTMS Carbon/ Alcantara Steering Wheel and Carbon Interior"

I mean dude your like 20k+ deep into your C63 anyways, why wouldn't you fork out the pocket change for folding mirrors while you were at it??

Head bolt issue? I hate to tell you but you're not getting any increased reliability by choosing BMW.

My first F30 M Sport 335i was a lemon. It was at the dealer for service more than it was in my garage.

Sounds like a lot of your problems could have been rectified by trading out your 2009 model for a 2012+ model.

There's always a penalty when you go for an early production model (e.g., '08 and '09 C63s).

First off 255 is skinny. I have 275 on mine right now. For a car with this much power it is skinny. I have 315s on my trans am.

Also the folding mirrors and parking sensors were not U options that year. Everywhere else yes. I'm not the only one to ***** about it. So before u go off on someone maybe you should educate yourself d1p****.

Also the max tire a c63 can fit is 275 if ur lucky. BMW 3 series can at least stuff bigger tires. It is a possibility without having to dump 10k for a wide body kit.

I didn’t realize that me voicing my opinion isn't allowed. It is a forum after all. If people never *****es nothing would ever improve.
