1 week shy of 30th annv...wife "wants a change"
Just when you think things are great just the way they are.....
out of the blue she says " I want some fresh air".

Yes it really will be our 30th next week and yes I'm gonna miss the Benz. However the open air and LS7 combination makes great therapy.

Yes, there is a difference. The car in the pic has the LS7 and the 427 but its not a Z06. The new 427 has a steel frame while the Z06 has an aluminum frame. The 427 convertible is pretty much a Grand Sport with a 427 in it.
Overall its pretty close. Same HP and tranny. A few CF bits from the ZR1. The 427 weighs in about 300 more pounds than the Z06.
Its a sweet car and you get almost the Z06 performance in a convertible.

127K for a completely loaded ZR1. I believe 90K for the 427.
