i know you said you didnt want an suv, and your budget is 10-20k. But have you ever thought about a used jeep SRT8, 07-09? Ive seen a few going for 20-30k with 50-70k miles on em in great condition. Now THATS a car

Ford Tarus from a rental agency. Comes standard with door dings, windshield chips, scratched up bumpers, worn seats and carpets. Snow, salt, and highway debris wont bother you. Cheap and reliable.

I think he mentioned he wants an automatic ..... I think a legacy GT or an audi a4 ... although that may be more expensive Obviously any 4matic or xdrive would do just fine .. i mean I used too and there are plenty of people that drive RWD cars in the winter (i'm from canada ... so I know snow)

I've had my Audi allroad since 02 , cant say Enough about how great it is in bad weather , mine is a twin turbo 6 with air suspension, which can get expensive if you don't do your own wrenching, IMO I would stay away from the Jeep SRT8 as a winter ride.I just sold my 08 SRT 8. Never liked it in bad weather ,Mine stayed in the garage in the winter, to much torque , the front lip will become a snow plow, and you will need snow tires. There are some great awd sedans around, Audi's, subies, Evos, or my fav. A used VW R32. But at that price point you looking at hi mileage , but you never know. GL. Shoot , get a 4matic E class .
