Looking To Purchase A 2008 C63 AMG. What's It Worth?
I'm looking to purchase my first AMG vehicle and came across a 2008 C63 AMG with 59K miles. Just received a CarFax showing a two previous owners with no collision history. The vehicle looks pretty damn straight/clean to me
Long story short, the owner owns the car outright, but is going through a divorce and doesn't want his wife to end up with the car... He's willing to sell it for 31K. Seems like a legit/good deal to me... What do you guys think? I realize this is my first post, and really want to join the Mercedes-Benz community.
I've been a HUGE C6 Z06 Corvette/current CTS-V enthusiast these past few years and want to switch it up Seems like these C63's can run fairly well with the Vette and even one up the Caddy in many areas...
Thanks a ton for your thoughts!

hmmmm...could be a legit deal at this point, but you might want to be careful. he might be able to sell it to a dealer even quicker and for slightly more so it might not make sense to do what he's doing. just make sure you do everything by the book and you should be ok.

Get the car checked out by a mechanic for body damage and make sure that services were done on time.
Also you might want to invest in a paint density meter to make sure that the paint is uniform across the whole car. I'm not saying that the previous owner would do this, but some people avoid getting accidents showing up on carfax by not filing insurance and paying out of pocket.
I think it's a great deal just hope you don't get the headbolt failure.
