Sigh.. Car wont start..Tips?
I come back home, havent driven the car for about 10 days. I go to start the car, nothing happens. It wont let me power up dashboard or nothing. Says key not detected.
I take key-less go button out and stick key in the ignition and states "take
Key from ignition"
From the outside, the key lets me lock and open door. I can touch door handles and it will lock and unlock.
After trying everything i can think of, I call mb road side - guy comes and tries to jump start.. Nothing, still doesnt let me power on dashboard. He says nearest mb dealer is closed and call mb road side on monday to get it towed to dealer...
When I try to start with keyless go, i hear a faint tick in engine bay.. I also tried my other key..
Luckly I have another car here and happened at home.. Still a PITA.. First problem .. Damn electronics

Batteries dead nod his jumping battery wasn't strong enough.
I had a little 15lbs battery in mine for a bit and the Gf left the radio on while sitting in it one day. Went to start it and it would just click.
Tried to jump with a near by car. It wouldn't do ****.
Called road side and the guy came out but it took a few tries.
Gotta make sure you have good jumper cables and a strong booster battery.
Put a battery tender on it for a day.

Dead battery, I had it happen to me once when someone left the DVD playing with the car off and let it keep going. I tried boosting, no good. Tried charging, but the weird thing is, I couldn't charge the battery through the front terminals, because as soon as there was enough power charged up, the dvd would start draining power again, but wouldn't let me turn it off, so it was stuck in a 5V state.
Fixed it by unplugging battery from the trunk and charging the battery directly. 2 hours of quickcharge later, car fired right up.
Hope that helps.

Same thing happened to me when I got back from a business trip in the airport parking lot.
I called for assistance (the button in the garage), they sent out a truck, unfortunately it was a V6, and their V8 truck was not available. The guy sat on his accelerator for 30 min after attaching the jumper cables before my car had enough of a charge, in addition to his battery to turn over and start. Mind you, did so with a huge bark too.
Takes a crap ton of juice to turn over our engines.

My friend is over with a ml63. I will try to jump the car with that. I hope it's a dead battery, but I went out of country for 3 weeks and it started fine when I came back.
This may be silly question, but when you jump the c63, u put jumper cables in the Trunk, where battery is? And would you do same in the ml63 (2010) (assuming battery is in trunk)?
