Someone install my MAF's wrong ?

Someone install my MAF's wrong ?
I took my charcoal filters out only to find it kept tripping a check engine light P0171 so today I put the filters back in no problems however I did notice because I took the time to clean my MAF's that I think someone installed one wrong. I didn't want to mess around with it but one is installed "up" the other is installed "down". I am guessing after changing MAF's before they have a flow arrow which means one of mine might be installed "backwards"
Have a look at this picture I was trying to figure out why I couldn't disconnect it when I took the cover off and noticed one was up and the other was down.

My guess is that they don't make a port and stbd. one of those and they are in fact installed correctly. One would have to be flipped it over so the intake air hits it on the right side.
