Let dealership install carbon fiber diffuser? Good or bad idea?
My carbon fiber diffuser is still sitting on my living room floor.
I want to get it installed today.
I also need to get my LSD oil changed.
Is there any downside to letting the dealership install the cf diffuser?
Or should I just take it to a body shop and let them do it?
I do not have the tools necessary to drill out the rivets...

It's a very easy DIY, u don't need to drill out the rivet from ur oem bracket, just buy new bolts, washers to secure it.
Trust me, the stealer will charge u more than the cost of ur diffuser. Lol (unless u have a good relationship with ur dealer)

Just ask the dealership, " who is the best body shop around for MB cars."
Cost me $200 for the diffuser, front lip, grille and spoiler, plus they sprayed the diffuser and grill to match the matte finish. I went back and they installed my smoked side markers in 10 min. for nothing.

I will ask the guy that sold me the car, who is a great guy, this very question.

natman, what I meant is that I didn't reuse the oem bracket for the Vorsteiner diffuser.. I just used 2 long bolts in the middle & 2 small screws on the side. Acutally, my oem bracket is still attached to my oem diffuser.
