In a few weeks the KW DDC kit will be installed on my estate. I will be driving it down to KW r&d where they will make one according to estate specs to all other estate owners, this should lead to the product being available for the estate as well, not only the coupe & sedan.
I'll be starting the journey from Finland october 19th and the work will start october 22nd. According to the timetable the car should be ready to be picked up form germany november 2nd.

The DDC kit is pricey, but the potential and on-the-fly control is tempting. I'm eagerly waiting for your review, since it will translate for us sedan owners.

Oh yeaah...in 12 hours i'm cruising on the autobahn at night time Very little traffic, very high speed..... The ship arrives in Travemünde at 12am, from there to hamburg. Next morning approx 800 km drive to stuttgart where KW is located. Whee

Jycke whilst you there ask them if its available for the C63 Sedan. A vendor has advertised it but said no plug and play is available at the moment.

It is available but as they said, no plug and play is available as our cars natively do not have an electronic dampening control system. I'll know more on monday about how they plan on executing the whole thing. I do know however that if you buy the wlan adapter you can adjust it from your iphone/ipod touch.

So, mixed feelings from today's driving. I started out from Hamburg and drove down to stuttgart. Took it to the limiter several times. Unfortunately i ran into traffic so it still took a while to get down there. I also managed to get a few tickets by the electronic police...we'll see what happens.
Tomorrow i drop the car off at KW, take a train to paris and meet my lovely wife there Next post when i pick her (the car) up

Remains to be seen Wouldn't mind getting the bugs off, although I am driving the same 700-800 km right after i leave their HQ. Back to Finland

All in all it's going to be a 1 cm lowering (10mm..). Didn't want anymore since there already is snow on the ground. Going with a more aggressive stance in the spring. Posting pics next friday.

1cm is really conservative.
With H&R springs I was at -2cm.
Now my car is set up at -4cm but I already told how harsh the ride is

Yeah i know its not that much lower but with the ddc kit the manouverability of the car should be a lot better. How much work is it to lower it afterwards?

I'm not sure how it is with the KW but with H&R it's a bit of a hassle in the rear.
The front is very easy to adjust.
