Does anyone know or have tried to fit our C63 hood into the back of a minivan? I'm thinking of picking up a dad's CF one but only have a town and country... wondering if it will fit if I put it diagonally

tried but I cant get a conclusive answer. Our hoods bend at the sides so it's not a straight line....

Plan B: You have roof rails wrap that sucker up good with painters paper from home depot, it is cheap. After it is all wrapped and taped strap it to the top and drive slow...

You're getting the Dad's hood Tim? Why not have it shipped to your house? I would be too afraid to damage the CF material during the transport.

But if you have to, I would say wrap it good, remove all your rear seat & it should fit.

Meng, I thought about shipping it but wife and I decided it might be a crazy yet fun road trip. Take the opportunity for her to do some serious shopping as well

You will have the baby seat & your wife in the second row seating? My guess is it will not fit then.

Is it the used CF hood painted black that you're buying? It's going to look sick on your car!!

wife will sit in the front with me. so the hood can be slanted.... only way to find out if it fits is to try i guess. worst case scenario will be to put it on the roof

Just take your OE hood off & drive to the pick up point / install it there!

Technically you can hose down a engine bay with no ill affect.
That's how most people deep clean a engine bay.

haha roswell. wife sits up front, baby takes one of the middle row seats. the other seat gets folded down.
