Yes it is a good idea to get an alignment after lowering your car. You can have the toe-in adjusted to spec and if you want camber bolts installed on the front to reduce the negative camber. You should also get a print out showing the current settings for camber and caster and how they compare to stock settings. If you are installing coil-overs the car can also be corner balanced for best performance.
