These are standard issued license plate.

These are not custom plates, and its really hard to find these ones.

Usually I see it on cars like this:

Is 678 suppose to mean something?

Personally I think license plate that repeat the brand or model of the car that it's on is dumb. Yeah, the badges on the trunk and the side aren't enough, you really do need more reminder to others what kind of car you're driving. [/sarcasm]

Well that depends,

These are standard issued plates and it's a lot different than getting custom plates that shows it.

Also in the Chinese culture we like to get plates like 888 or something like that.

or 168 since 168 sounds like Keep getting rich or something along those lines.

Lol theres a chinese kid at my school with a superleggra and he got a chinese plate in front that says 8888. Makes sense now haha

Except 678 doesn't mean anything in Mandarin or Cantonese. Speaking of lucky number, my wife use to have 174 on her car's plate. 174 sounds like
"die together" in Mandarin.

And I don't know if I believe that E63 owner was lucky enough to happen to randomly receive an issued plate like that. He must have brought it from someone or is connected enough to get it customized.

Well I am sure it's not random due to it saying *AMG* but you can't buy these plates and once it's used it get phased out.

I can't buy this plate off him and put it on my car.

Also the plates with *AMG* was years ago our plates start with X and Y now so it's been yearsssssss

all he needs to do is supercharge it or drop a v12 in it to make 678hp and the number will mean something
