question about our navigation
what's up with our nav map not showing most street names? sometimes i like to drive with the map up on the scrfen (without running the turn-by-turn directions) so i can find a street, etc., which is really hard to do when the map doesn't label 99% of the streets. i flipped through the menus, and yes, even read the manual, but couldnt find a way to get a more detailed view. am i missing something? maybe i need a software update?

my wife bananas! :D
1) ok first make sure you are on the navi screen
2) press the back button (it is beside the dial on the center arm console), what you should see are the top and bottom tabs disappearing on the navi screen
3) turn the dial to zoom in and out
hope that helps

odd, at the most zoomed in setting, all the street names pop up.
one problem i noticed however is that if you are zoomed in and the street is fairly long, you might not see that street name as it is displayed off the screen lol...

I figured it out. I was using the 3d mode (I think "birds eye"). In that mode, street names are few and far between. I switched it to the regular 2d mode and all the street names show up.
