Thumbs up Rockauto.com

So it seems like everyone here is always *****ing about price of car parts.

Let me show you guys the holy grail of getting quality OEM parts for extremely reasonable prices.

Let me present you guys to: rockauto.com

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ma...%252CCA%252CMX

Note I am not affiliated with rockauto at all. I just feel that as a fellow owner, it's my duty to pass on great finds and deals to this community.

Here is a link to OEM rotors since everyone is *****ing about stealerships charging ridiculous amounts of money ($800 for 1 piece). OEM front rotors can be had for approx $100.

Guys can thank me later, also this site is pretty awesome for other cars too if you're into DIY stuff.

Hate to bring you back down to earth here but:

A) none of those rotors are replacements for the ones people are complaining about. The rotors they are talking about are for the P30/P31 performance pack and these are clearly labelled without or except. In other words NON p30/p31 cars.

B) Rock Auto DOES NOT sell OEM parts. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer or in other words the exact same manufacturers exact same part as you'd get at the dealer. These are not OEM, which are actually a pound lighter and only $7 more online. For $7 I think most anyone will take a true MB part.

As always, The Holy Grail is a myth.

Well stated.

You may have already done this, but can you provide info about the gorgeous car in your signature?

Regards,

Joe

Have used Rock for years... very good customer service. For readers, they "broker" in a lot of their parts (drop ship with separate shipping charges),but has been ok.
The selection for C63 seemed limited last time I looked.

I too have been using them for years. Good pricing, great service.

Last year they sent me the wrong OEM plug for my Audi. Resulting in them overnighting for free the new plugs.

PS: They let me keep the old ones to boot, LOL

If they have you want, RockAuto is great

I have been using them for years for the collector cars. It's amazing how many parts for 40 year old cars are still being produced.

Sometimes the shipping costs get a bit spendy. As long as everything comes from the same warehouse you are good.

You can be paying $900 per rotor while I could be doing mine every 2nd year and I'll still be ahead.

i've purchased many parts from them over the last couple of years. Their prices are pretty good as the quality of their parts is so so.
