i don't mean to ask a stupid question here but.......why does your thread have 3 different figures for power gains ?

it starts with 497 / 477 , then the graph shows max power at 442.24 and the line shows 439.77

497/477 is the flywheel #.

Max power is 442.24 whp, which converts to 497hp flywheel.

The 439.77 is just a random point on the dyno graph that's used to compare HP and TQ between stock and tuned to show gains.

Incorrect. Assuming 18% driveline loss, fairly standard, 442whp would equate to 539 at the crank. But if they're crank hp of 497 is accurate, then that would be 407 whp.

This is probably the same post Velos has put up in the past, with the same confusing information. Come on guys, it's not that hard....

And sorry if this has been asked before, what are the implications on factory warranty?

In the past the warranty has been a tricky thing because the ECU had to be opened. The personal tuner now allows you to go back and forth from stock as you wish. The process may take a full four minutes. When you take the car in for service you can have the stock tune on the car if you wish. Most of our customers go in normally and if the dealer updates your software we provide a new software upgrade at no charge.

Basically it is not detectable and if the software is overwritten you will not be penalized.

You guys are quick! Thanks for the overnight shipping! I didn't expect it and I had work the next day so I wasn't there for delivery. But I just picked it up this morning from FedEx. I have work again today so I won't be able to tinker with it until tonight.

Who should I contact if I have any question about using the tune? I haven't looked at the instruction USB yet, but will tonight. Thank again!
