More power but keep warranty
Are there any approvrd mods for more power on my C63 Coupe that do not void my warranty?
I have the AMG performance package but would like 550 hp or more. 2013 C63 AMG Coupe purchased from EMC in Abu Dhabi

Aftermarket filters for a few. Remove as much weight as possible. That's about it.

does the renntech goodies void the warranty if all are installed/setup at an MB dealership? i was told by an SA that they only install renntech (but didn't say if that'll void the warranty as he said tune + suspension will cost me around $8k.. yeah right!)

The dealer may work with you since they install the mods but it still voids warranty and will not pass if it is a major issue that needs to be approved by MB through their regional rep. The dealer will also be in deep trouble if they falsify any warranty claims and cannot promise you a change in any terms of the warranty on behalf of MB.

You could get the handheld tuner provided by eurocharged, velos, or oe. I personally have EC and its great. Recently took my car for an intake manifold gasket replacement and just tuned it back to stock. No mention of my tune or exhaust mods. Everything done under warranty.

Lighten it up a bit by maybe getting carbon fiber trunk and hood.......other than that the one thing you can do is get a tune. The tune does void the warranty but most places offer a one time reversal of the tune (back to factory) then back to the tune again for free. You just pay the shipping...just a thought

You want to play-you have to pay. ALL ECU tampering CAN be discovered by MB. Dealers have no say whatsoever-the ones that sell aftermarket parts and tell you-no problem with the warranty-aren't the ones that decide if a MAJOR issue is covered.
Quote the MM Act and all that other BS until you are blue in the face- times have changed, a C63 replacement engine is a 30K dollar hit and if it breaks and they find that the ECU has been tampered with-you are out of luck.
Modding is cool and everyone wants more power-but if you tune it and change what AMG designed-why should they pay for it?
