Direct replacement to factory hood
Fully fuctional heat extractors, increase heat dissipation from engine comparment
steel reinforced bold plates are built into the hood for a true bolt on application
utilizing factory hardware (latches,hinges,hood struts etc) to make a EOM FIT
fully finished underside adding strength,durability and show quality finish
It is Lighter than factory hood
hand lay up fiberglass "isohptalic resin" stronger and flexible resin that handles higher temperatures
Comes with smooth white gealcoat finish ready to paint
Professional installation highly recommended

I'm interested but i was hoping a price below the 1k mark. This is just FRP not CF. Does that price include shipping?
As well what is the robustness of your product? Can i use this hood as if it was an OEM without breaking it?

hi abcut973 im sorry we can not go on a lower price due to materials and labor are more expensive in the united states than CHINA and one of the difference on this hood is that it has a compleate underside so it takes more materials and labor time

we have not weighed it yet we know it is lighter because we have weight both factory and fiber glass at same time by hand and you can definitely tell that is lighter than eom i will weigh it tomorrow to give you an exact number thank you

Is there any benefit to this hood in terms of air flow and cooling? My buddy has the dads vented and his car runs cooler and cools down a bit quicker. Just wondering as the vents are smaller.

sure ther are benefits, vents will increase heat dissipation from engine comparment the location of vents is the same as the real 2012 black series and AMG knows what they doing so do we

Is it best to buy it as-is and go to a body shop to get the paint matched with the rest of the car?
I'd love to see this on a black car so if anyone buys and installs, please post pics.
