Would you mind linking to the one you purchase? I've been thinking about getting one, but don't know which one to choose.

I put mine on the left corner of the windshield, out of the way.

Hoozer, I might sell mine, are you interested?

Not to derail the topic but why performancebox? There are plenty of cheaper GPS based data logger/lap timer out there. And I'm not being facetious here, I really would like to know whether there's some inherent advantages or features that justify the higher price tag.

from my research, it's considered to be more accurate than the others...

and i believe magazines and car testers use it as well...

AiM Sol, Traqmate, Racepak G2X, Race Technologies DL1, RLC, Qstarz, Aeris CompuMask, Starlane, DashDAQ etc. XT Racing and Starlane I know make similar products for bike racing but not sure if they are compatible with cars.

There are also some iphone apps like Harry's Lap Timer. And some GPS enabled camera has some data logging functionality as well. I know contour and chasecam are few examples of those.

From what I find on their websites both Racelogic Pbox and Aim Solo have 10hz accuracy. With an external antenna you can get up to 10hz on the iphone as well. If you're strap for cash iphone apps like Harry's isn't a bad alternative to expensive data logger at all.
