Call me old fashion but i hate that the 63 and the M3 are going turbo...like the higher reving NA V8 better and its more pure IMO...very few pure cars out right now imo...gt3, R8, F430, 458 , sls etc etc

It would be nice if they put the 5.5TT in the C63. I drove a new SL63 with the 5.5TT at Laguna and was really surprised at how smooth the power comes on. No turbo lag at all. Big fat and flat torque curve.

The fact that they speculate the name would change to C55 when all the other 157 powered models are still called 63's creates some question as to the accuracy of this article. One can still hope...I'll take a Cxx AMG Coupe 4-matic in red of course.

How so?
My stage 3 blower is rated for 730-750 HP on stock internals. With internals 850-1000hp.
A tuned cls from renntech is rated at 670hp. Add intercooler, down pipe, bigger turbos and HP goes up, haven't seen anything as high as the built weistec stage 3 yet.

With everything being equal, higher displacement is obviously going to produce more power. I know for sure that M156 engine's head is a solid architecture. However, I'm not sure if that of the M157 is a solid or open architecture. Obviously, a solid architecture will be able to handle way, way more power than an open architecture.
