As the title says do our C63's contain oil or gel in them.

I started to get knocking from under the bonnet on slight bumps in the road as if a suspension strut or mount let go.

I check under the hood and can put two finger one side of my engine beside the firewall on the left and maybe one and a half fingers on the right?

I'm almost certain they're liquid filled and that the inner fluid is a reddish color. But I can't say with certainty because I've never experience that failure.

I have two engine mounts sitting here, just looked and there wouldn't be much fluid in them if there was..

It does look like they MIGHT be filled, but I can't say for sure... I shook it around and couldn't hear anything...

If u need one, let me know I got it sitting here.

Our engine mounts have some kind of hydraulic fluid in them. When I had headers installed on my 09 C63, ACG noticed that my passenger side engine mount had busted. You could see that the fluid leaked out and dried up on the outside of the mount. The car was still under warranty, so I took it to the dealer and had both engine mounts replaced. The rear differential was also leaking oil, and had the seals replaced under warranty at the same time.

That looks like a good portion of oil? The mount is small.
