bmw 335i sport pkg
hi all noob here
Hello to all and as my title reads I am new. I am currently in the market for a 09'-10' c63. I own a 08' 335i sport pckg and was seriously considering a 09'-10' M3 as well. That is until I started looking at the c63 and now I'm hooked and hell bent on owning one. Yea the M is great and everything but I want that sleek aggressive look along with brute force the c63 has to offer. My thing is I yet to identify what to look for? What year to get ? What packages are offered and or which is more desirable over the other? I guess just the inns and out of what to look for and of owning one as well? I apologize to you all as I'm sure this question has been asked and answered many times before. I did search and came up empty.

Welcome to the forum AMGDG...
First you have to ask yourself which look your prefer... the pre-facelifted (2008-2011) or the facelifted (2012 & up).
If you decide on the pre-facelifted, I would suggest you to buy a later 2010 production year & up as they come with the new headbolts. (you can read about the headbolts issue on top where the stickies are). Or else, try to bargain for the extended warranty if it's available to purchase.
You also have to decide whether or not you need the Performance Package with the red calipers, Cf trunk spoiler & extra 30 (?) HP. PP cars cost a bit more even pre-owned.
I'm sure I forgot a lot more details, maybe other members can chime in.
Good luck in your search!!

It all depends on your budget.
As Roswell said, 2010 models are a safer bet.
To be honest, I would rather buy a C63 without the Perf.Pack and get a tune and a set of coilovers.

I agree with Matt, I would save that ~10k$ for the PP option & put it towards a nice set of coilovers & tune + other mods.

x2, if you dont plan to track the car save your money on the PP and get some stuff that you really want

This one has been on the market for quite a while i guess. When i was car hunting I came across this one. Looks pretty clean although carfax is not available online. You still have 1.5y warranty, plenty of miles left and It has PP. I dont remember exactly the price but i remember it was more than 56K$ 4 months ago. One of the reason why i didn't buy it because i was like you with a 40K$ budget. Good luck with your search.

I have been to this place and looked at this car.
I was looking for a car for myself at that time. Their asking price was too high.
I found a 2011 CPO with 2k miles for not a whole lot more.
A 2010 with 9k miles and no CPO should be couple grand less at least.

Here is one in Houston for sale:

It's around your budget and I know it's been well taken care of as I was the original owner.

Welcome. A piece of advice: Be patient, look for newer models (2010 would be ok for your budget). I promise you that you will fall in love with the car.

The problem with this one (if it's one) is the warranty has expired. Therefore you'll have to buy a third party one which is more expensive. As well carfax doesn't show much about service history unless the seller has it, which i doubt. I've never been to this dealer but several others in this dallas area.
