Hey guys,

I've partially finished most of the work on my car now however was looking at replacing the OEM grille which is painted black. I'm relatively happy with the grille however the paint job was crazy bad and when I sanded it down, there's some very deep scratches in it which won't allow me to do a good job with the paint. I resprayed it however it needs replacing. I recently met with someone out here and found this grille (attached). Problem was that it wouldn't fit.

My car was imported from the US so I guess the grille below is for a Euro spec car? The clips on the bumper and the grille would not connect. As you can see from the photo, this is the closest the grille would come to the clips.

I would like to buy a new or used grille that fits my car directly preferably not CF as I don't want to pay crazy prizes. Does anyone have any recommendations?

It seems like the grille you got is for a non AMG car. The C63 has a pointier front end that sticks out further than the regular C Classes.

There's no difference between a US vs. Euro front bumper aside from the stupid amber lights found at the corners of the North American cars.

Thanks for the reply. I would have thought that too but it was a 2 piece as the C63. After reading more about it, it seems there's euro spec c63 grilles and american spec C63 grilles. It seems they are not interchangable but I don't know why.

Can anyone else chime in? I need a grille and can't find any on ebay.
