0-60 is useless information. I agree, give us some 1/4 times with trap speed.
0-60 is always going to have the AWD cheater cars at the top. Do a drag race and this list will look drastically different.

0-60 matters in 1/4 mile times also, getting off the line is one of the most important things in drag racing, it would take many runs to master a good 60' in a zo6 compared to a awd car??

0-60 is about traction. I slapped DRs on my CLS and went from running high 11s to low 11s with no other change. Same trap speeds. Awd car will always have an advantage here even if its a slower car.

An impressive feat for the McLaren, with it being a RWD to take on the three AWD's in front of it.
So where is Veyron?
Now with AMG and I'm sure many others following suits with AWD, I'm sure the list is soon going to become quite crowded.

The main reason IMO that 0-60 time is not very meaningful is that it has more to do with 2-3 shift point that the true capabilities of a car.

keep in mind the Audi is AWD 0-60 is all about traction. The first 4 cars on the list are AWD. i just purchased an Audi S6 and it spanks my C BS 9 times out of 10 on the street thanks to the AWD, even though it has about 60 less HP and about 500 more pounds of curb weight.

Thanks, I have a few more cars than that LOL. I actually purchased the 2013 S6 and gave it to my VP of operations who pretty much runs my company as his company car. He had been driving around a 2007 Charger R/T I got him and it was time for me to get him an upgrade for all his efforts. So, as I did purcahse it and it is owned by the company I own I can not really call it mine. I have always been a BMW and now an AMG guy but the S6 impressed me so much that it now has me considering Audi's, my wifes lease on her ML is about up and I told her to go check out the Q7's One of my buddies is kicking around the idea of picking up an RS5, now that is an amazing car.

I'm thinking the article was referring to 0-60 mph whereas in your reference I believe you are referring to the 60' mark. Too different but crucial specs when considering the performance of a car.
