Your tune removed the primary cat requirements.

It take a bit for the system to realize the cats are no longer there, if you dont already have that programmed off.

I drove around with a tune and no cats for a bit, the light didnt come on for a few days.

Haha, CEL came on. Im just waiting on EC to send me my catless file. Honestly, felt a difference the first time i took it out. Pulls MUCH harder. I was too scared to go WOT but i found a few roads i could on. The sound is definitely not for everyone, it's louder than my friends AP headers/exhaust c63. Sounds crazy though and i've been getting tons of thumbs up from people haha. Even cruising in 7th gear, it's LOUD.

Completely catless with a mini h pipe in place of the resonators as well. With the ec v4 tune. The car is a complete animal. Didnt think a cat delete would be so noticiable on my butt dyno haha.

Wow. That must be loud. Not surprised about the cats, I've heard half of the gains from headers is because they replace the primary cats.

Yeah, VERY haha. Ill post driveby/rev videos as soon as its back from service. Its much louder in cabin also.
