X-Pipe Issue - Help

I just bought a MBH X-Pipe from a member on the forum and it showed up today. Obviously, I want to get it on my '13 P31 as soon as possible. So today, I called three different shops I'd trust around Dallas about getting the work done. Everyone of them said it was against the law to remove any CATS. Doing so evidently is punishable with 5 yrs in jail and $10k fine (the shop). Therefore no one would touch this.

A couple questions....
1) Has anyone heard of this or had this challenge?
2) Could there be issues with MB, especially with the warranty by adding the x-pipe if in fact this is against the law?
3) Does anyone know where in Dallas I could get it done? PM is fine

I ran into this problem in Socal when I wanted to remove my cats with an x-pipe. I just drove around every exhaust shop until somebody said yes.

They are supposed to be bolt in. Do it yourself.

You will void the warranty on your exhaust.

Tell them it's for "offload use"
My pipe has a Vband installed for that same issue.
Go to the track bolt it on
Head home bolt it off and go back to OEM
