On the 2013 C63 AMG is there crome on the upper and lower part of the exterior door handle, or is the handle body color? Is the chrome on top of the exterior door handles a feature of KEYLESS-GO?

My 2010 has the chrome accent on the door handle & also have keyless go, but I'm not sure if they come as a package. I would prefer the chrome delete everywhere though, looks cleaner.

I believe the chrome only comes with KEYLESS-GO, maybe someone who does not have KEYLESS-GO on their 2012 or 2013, can confirm?

I believe that the chrome is part of keyless go when they put the sensors in the door handle to lock and unlock the door by touch.

On the facelift models (not sure about older ones) you can only get the chrome trim on the upper part of the door handle if you get Keyless-Go. The sensors aren't actually built into the chrome piece but rather the painted section of the handle.

It's just my guess but I think the reason this is the case is because Keyless-Go was previously only on higher end models (E Class and higher) where the door handles typically have the chrome trim. But later on, bringing the option to the C which had the all painted handles (and can be viewed as a lower end handle compared to the chrome one) required recycling parts for other models for the C Class.

I hope that logic makes some sense.

That is absolutely correct. The chrome part on the top of the handle only comes with keyless go. My C63 coupe does not have the chrome section but my old C Class with keyless go comes with it.
