What is the easiest way to take off those ugly decals on the sunscreens?

Are you talking about the sunvisors?
I applied a 3M CF dinoc decal over the airbag warning stickers, and added some AMG emblems over them.. a bit overkill, but it was a gift from the wife... so it's ok. LOL

This question has been asked on forums many times. There are companies that make color-matched appliques to cover them, but they're not stickers - they're heat-bonded applications.

Ok folks, small update.
The Goo Gone did NOT work.
Paint Thinner works though. Here is my job so far.
Before I continue, does anyone know how to take the visors off? I want to continue the work out of the car to get it right.

You can pop the cap off from behind, it will give you access to the screw that holds the visor in place. I wonder if a heat gun would work also? Please let us see pics once you are done.

Good luck cleaning the residue out of ur visor after, the material is attracting all kind of glue or dirt & is hard to clean.

i was able to use Goo Gone to remove the airbag warninig stickers on an SLK 2007, but the visors were hard plastic. you're braver than me for taking paint thinner to your visor.

Roswell, hopefully it all comes out well.
Rufferto, I was honestly terrified and so far the results are honesty just OK, but I figured its just a visor, its easily replaceable at a relatively low cost and if I dont even want to replace it I figured I can go Roswell's route for relatively cheap as well and cover up anything bad.
Basically, I get so much info from this forum I figured I would try to contribute back and just take the risk and see what happens.

LAMBO9, thanks for the info on how to take it off. I will also try the heat gun because it should be cleaner.

If you bought replacement visors from MB, would they come with the stickers on? If they are not too expensive, that may be the best option.

LOL it kind of is. Ok so this is my results so far....
Goo Gone - Didn't seem to work, at least with me.
Heat Gun - Attempt at your own risk!! This is what happened with me. I started off on low heat and lo and behold I start to see the "sticker" come off by itself, like visually it was loosening up! I thought man I wish I did this from the start. So since it seemed to be falling off by itself I reach up and try to start peeling it. Turns out, whatever pleather or whatever it is covering the sun visor was ALL kind of melting and getting loose. Luckily I noticed it early enough that when it had quickly cooled (with alot of panicked blowing on it by yours truly) it went completely back to place.
Rubbing Alcohol - Read up on some other forum about this working. Seems to work on older vehicles where its a pure sticker on hard plastic. Kind of worked with me but will require a ton of rubbing. (guess its in the name right?)
Acetone (paint thinner) - So far so good. I did realize that the visor looked ALOT better today than it did yesterday. The sticker is steadily coming off with some good old fashioned elbow grease. Also, rubbing it down with rubbing alcohol after you've removed the sticker seems to take care of all the remaining residue and makes it look as close to normal as possible.
I hope I can finish the driver's side today and see how it comes out and post pics. If not I will finish it up tomorrow and post pics.
PS I could not remove the sun visor. It might just be me too scared to remove the plastic cap for fear of breaking it but if someone has a DIY with pics that would be greatly appreciated as I am still working in the car which is actually making things ten times more difficult.
