Does your 2010 C63 Reset Instrument Cluster on Every Start?
Hi,
I'm wonder if you guys with a 2010 or older C63 - when you set your centre instrument cluster to display the speed, after you turn the car off and back on, is it still on the speed or does is reset to the trip / odometer?
Thanks

I have an 09 sedan. I have 2 trip odometer modes:
- one that is cumulative milage/hours and average speed/mpg (this one does not reset everytime you start the car unless you manually do it)
- one that is current (it resets everytime you start the car after probably 2-3hrs+ of non use or if you do it manually). It does not reset after 10 mins of driving normally.

I don't think that's what OP is asking. I think all C63s return to the odo screen after you shut off the car. I wish there was a setting to get around it, but no one knows how to reprogram it. You would likely have to find someone very knowledgable with the STAR tool.

I drive around with the AMG display and it I never have to switch it back even after switching the car back. When I take the key out, the odo does show up, but once I start back up, it reverts to the AMG display. I'm pretty sure if I've had nav or audio displayed, it remains that way at the next start as well.

My wife's GLK would always reset to the odo. We had the instrument cluster replaced under warranty and it now stays at the last setting upon restart (we prefer speedometer). Wondering what year of cluster this change started.

I too wish there was some way to make it permanently display the speed and not the odometer after switching on the car. Everytime i have to press the up arrow on the wheel after every start.
